Professional RF detector for GSM bugs and hidden cameras BugHunter BH-04
1. It has two independent channels operating in the frequency range of 10 to 8000 MHz. Each channel has its own antenna and specific purpose. The ANT1 channel is designed to operate in the 10 to 2400 MHz range in which most spy equipment operates. It features high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range (up to 70 dB), making it capable of detecting even the weakest eavesdroppers. ANT2 is a high-frequency (from 2400 to 8000 MHz) and high-speed channel capable of detecting even nanosecond signals (ANT2 applications - 5.8 GHz digital and analog cameras, 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, etc.). The BugHunter BH-04 therefore operates over the entire frequency range without interruptions.
2. Built-in frequency meter. The device is equipped with a highly sensitive and high-speed frequency meter. It identifies the most popular signal types including GSM, DECT, BLUETOOTH, WLAN, 3G/4G/5G.
3. The detector has three detection modes: search, oscillograph and security mode.
4. Convenient and informative color LCD display (320 x 340px). When searching for spy platforms, the screen displays two graphs: peak values (red) and average values (green) of detected signals.
5. Automatic and manual adjustment of the sensitivity threshold and vibration signal. If necessary, the sensitivity of the device can be adjusted so that the graphs do not change. The vibration signal threshold can also be adjusted.
6. Background subtraction function to eliminate interference. This is a full-fledged alternative to filtering, as the latter only attenuates strong GSM and Wi-Fi signals that prevent the detector from locating weak spy platforms.
7. Log generation with the possibility of uploading to a PC. In security mode, the device maintains a database of alerts (recorded radio signals) that is stored in memory. The device has 4 databases with 2000 logs in each. Each database is capable of storing alerts registered during one session in security mode. It is then repeatedly updated with new data.
9. Autonomous power supply from Li-Pol battery. The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. The battery can be recharged using a 110/220 V power adapter or via the USB port of a computer.
10. Rigid metal housing. Aluminum alloy housing protects the device from mechanical damage.

Search mode. This is the main mode that is enabled by default. The device displays peak and average readings. Pulse plateaus can be detected using the peak value graph, while analog plateaus can be detected using the average value graph. It is necessary to select which channel to use: ANT1, ANT2 or ANT1+ANT2. We recommend to use both channels sequentially: first use ANT1 and then change to ANT2. This way you will find all the spy devices in the vicinity. Using both channels at the same time is recommended only for an express analysis of the current radio field, because in this case the sensitivity of the device will be limited by the parameters of the ANT2 channel.
Oscilloscope mode. This is an auxiliary mode used to display radio signal oscillograms. The purpose of the oscillograms is to provide the user with information about the waveform of the radio signal and its changes over time, so that the spy device transmitting the signal can be identified. The device may display data from both channels or separately from ANT1 and ANT2. It allows to pause the oscillogram plotting on the screen for detailed signal analysis.
Safety mode. This mode is used to continuously monitor the radio field when no signals are detected. This mode can be used, for example, during a negotiation or when leaving the area to avoid missing new signal sources (e.g., spy platforms with delayed transmission, or remotely operated platforms, or GPS locators). When going into safety mode, the device estimates the current radio field and remembers the signal level. Next, it records all new active signals and adds them to the database, notifying the user by turning on the display, beeping, or vibrating depending on the setting.
