Protect 1206i can easily detect surveillance devices utilising GSM 900/1800 or DECT. In addition, transmitters based on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi are exceptionally difficult to detect by standard devices due to low power of the broadcast signals and specific modulation. Counter surveillance device Protect 1206i is perfectly capable of detecting even such high-tech espionage gear. Despite having so many advanced capabilities, the device is very intuitive, self-explanatory and indicates any action taken in a clear manner. The counter surveillance device Protect 1206i is well suited for detection of any type of wireless surveillance, including even the very advanced types, providing you with a sense of security and confidence that confidential data or private information will not fall into the wrong hands.

The detector features a 16-segment LED bar graph for precise source localization.

The Protect 1206i uses a dual antenna system:

Standard antenna – precise detection within 2.4 – 2.48 GHz and 4.9 – 5.39 GHz bands.

Microwave antenna (new generation) – provides 2–4× greater range and covers 50 MHz – 12 GHz.

Correlation (CORR) – emits test pulses, analyzes returned signals from active transmitters.

Demodulation – reproduces demodulated audio to distinguish between GSM, WiFi, Bluetooth, or other transmissions, significantly increasing threat identification reliability.

Features:

Active Correlation function: if a probing sound emitted by the detector matches a radio transmission detected nearby, it indicates the presence of a bug in the vicinity.

Adjustable sensitivity to detect signals in the range from 50 cm to 2 m. This allows the counter surveillance device to function even in the presence of external interference (e.g.: transmission towers or radio transmitters).
