GSM, 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Signal Detection

The RF mode is designed to detect active GPS trackers and other wireless devices communicating via mobile networks. It also supports detection of 5G signals within the 3300–3800 MHz frequency band.

Six adjustable sensitivity levels allow you to first detect a suspicious signal from a greater distance and then gradually reduce the sensitivity to accurately pinpoint its source. The typical detection range is approximately 3–5 meters, depending on transmitter power, surrounding environment, and interference levels.

Magnetic Detection of Switched-Off GPS Devices

Passive GPS trackers or devices that are temporarily not transmitting cannot be reliably detected using an RF detector alone. For this reason, TraceTrack is equipped with a dedicated magnetic sensor that detects the magnetic field produced by trackers attached to the metal parts of a vehicle.

Under suitable conditions, the sensor can detect magnetic fields from distances of up to 30 cm. Directional LED indicators help determine the exact location of the hidden device.
